Hiking: La Viñuela is located in the center of an extensive network of local and long-distance hiking trails, including the GR7 which borders the property, the GR 142, and the GR240 known as "Sulayr" or "sunny mountain" that surrounds the entire Sierra Nevada. Some of these trails can be accessed directly from the Cortijo.

Along these paths, you can discover the famous acequias (irrigation channels built by the Arabs), the aljibes (water reservoirs), the escarihuelas (stone steps zigzagging up the mountain), ancient grain or olive mills, threshing floors or places, and in each village, the old fountain or laundry area.

You can choose excursions of any length and level – from an easy stroll filled with butterflies at the middle mountain level to a spectacular journey through the wild high mountain area.
