How to reach from Granada
From Granada Take the Granada-Motril Highway towards Motril.

Take the Granada-Motril Highway towards Motril. Take the LANJARÓN / LA ALPUJARRA exit and follow the A348 towards Lanjarón. Pass through the town and continue to Órgiva. At the entrance of Órgiva, turn left after a BP gas station, taking the A4132 towards Villa Turística de Bubión, Trevélez, and Carataunas. (At this point, you are about 30 minutes from La Viñuela). Follow this road for 25 km until you reach the village of Pitres.

Pass Pitres without entering the town (stay on the main road) and continue towards Trevélez for 1.5 km. Cross a bridge (Río Bermejo), go through a curve, and on the straight section that follows, you will see the Pórtugos gas station on the left.
Before reaching the gas station, take the small road on the right towards Atalbéitar. It is steep, but trucks, buses, and cars can go down without issues. Continue descending for 1.5 km. About 500 meters before Atalbéitar, take the first concrete track on the right, marked by a wooden sign reading "Cortijo La Viñuela". Be careful—our entrance has a sharp right turn and five speed bumps further ahead. If you find the metal gate closed, don’t worry—it is usually not locked. Simply get out, open it, and close it again, especially if it is nighttime.

There is ample parking space in the gravel area upon arrival. Please do not drive up to the house.

How to reach La Viñuela from Motril

If coming from Málaga, the best route is via Motril. Take exit 164 (Lanjaron-Alpujarra) before reaching Motril and follow the directions to Órgiva. At the entrance of Órgiva, turn left after a BP gas station, taking the A4132 towards Villa Turística de Bubión, Trevélez, and Carataunas. (At this point, you are about 30 minutes from La Viñuela). Follow this road for 25 km until you reach the village of Pitres.
From Pitres, follow the instructions given in the previous section.

How to reach La Viñuela from Trevélez

If coming from Trevélez, you don’t need to go all the way to Pitres. Pass Busquístar and Pórtugos. As you leave Pórtugos, you will see the Pórtugos gas station on the right. Just after the gas station, take the small road to Atalbéitar on the left.
From there, follow the instructions provided earlier.
